| ABOUT ME, THE DESIGNER
I'm
Kim Hill, designer and owner of CG Essentials. I'm a professional
photographer turned stay-at-home-mom of two amazing boys. I'm 43
years old and married to my soul mate of 20 years. We live in New
York State where we have a little over 4 acres of beautiful land.
I first heard about digi scrapping through a moms group I belonged
to and made my first digital layout in November 2004. At that time, I didn't
know there were places to purchase pre-made elements, so I taught
myself PhotoShop and learned to make them myself. After many long
nights of banging my head against the wall, I finally figured it
out and have been creating ever since. My entreprenurial husband
gave me the push to start selling my creations and I opened the store on January 6, 2005.
I get the bulk of my inspiration from fashion and home decor. I love to see all
the new patterns and colors arriving at the various stores. I primarily
scrap my two boys and occasionally throw in something about myself.

ABOUT CGE PRODUCTS
All backgrounds are created as 12x12 JPEGs. All elements are
created as PNGs. Everything is created at 300 dpi which means your
layouts will be of the highest resolution, suitable for printing.
If you are a paper scrapper, this means that you can print out anything
from CGE, then cut it out and use it on your paper scrapping layouts.
No need to run out to the craft store when you have all your needs
met right here!!
All CGE products were made using Adobe PhotoShop
CS2 and a variety of plug-ins and commercial use actions. All CGE kits (elements, papers, etc.) that are currently for
sale in my store are for personal, non-commercial use only. They
may not be used in the creation of websites, albums or any type
of art that will be used for the purpose of selling. I appreciate
your understanding and respect. There are a few retired kits available
for commercial use, however. If you are interested in this, please
email me and I will send you a Commercial Use Agreement to sign
(a fee is involved). If your layout(s) using CGE products are accepted
for publication in any print or online magazine, please remember
to credit CGE for the products you have used. I would also appreciate
an email letting me know what publication your work will be in.
